How to make yourself admin on your Left For Dead Server

Getting your SteamID​

Note: If you already know your SteamID you can skip this step

  1. Go to SteamID I/O
  2. Enter your Steam Username This will then output your SteamID, you will need this in the next step so copy this down.

Making yourself an admin​

  1. From the main screen of the controll panel, navigate to the File's tab on the left hand sidebar.
  2. Once in files Navigate to Left4Dead2 > addons > sourcemod > Configs then open admins_simple.ini
  3. At the bottom of the file enter your SteamID in the following format. 
"SteamID" "99:z"
  1. Click the save button and restart your server.

Done you are now an admin on your Left4Dead Server
